The Kaplunk was born out of necessity. It's a relativity fast sinking lure that requires different techniques and is at times a little misunderstood by some anglers. But when you catch some of your biggest bream, bass and estuary perch on this lure, gun anglers are grateful for this top class sinking hard body. Too many lures are delivered to their destination, but then require "winding down" into the strike zone....but by then that same lure is OUT of the strike zone!? The Kaplunk can land and sink exactly where you cast it and often gets smashed on the drop.....no technique required! The retrieve is a tight but still vibrant action and the w hooks are very snag resistant making this lure one of the best for working very thick and heavy structure.
